The deceased has been confined to his home for a number of weeks, continually growing weaker, until the end came.
He was an old resident of this county and for many years was very prominent in politics.
Funeral services are to to held at Neligh, at two o'clock, Friday, conducted by Rev. H.H. Spracklen of Logan Center. The services will be under the directions of the Odd Fellows, of which order he was a faithful member for years. Interment will be made in the Neligh cemetery.--Orchard News
