Mary Emma Curtis was born 26 Mar 1843 in Tippecanoe County Indiana to parents Simeon Brockway Curtis and Sarah Emily Hall Curtis. Mary married John J. Whait 12 Aug 1857 in Buchanan County Iowa followed by marriage to Stephen Holman Sr 21 Apr in Buchanan County Iowa. Mary and Stephen had children named Jasper Elmer "Elmer", William Riley "Riley", Lucy Emily, Alexander Harry "Harry", and Stephan Willard "Rusty" Holman. Mary's son Alexander Harry Holman is also buried in Fairview Cemetery. Mary divorced Stephen Holman and Married Lucas Andrews sometime before 1900. Mary Emma died 5 Oct 1917, however the location of death is unknown to me. I would guess it would have been in the general area of Camp Crook South Dakota.
