CROWELL (Spl.) - Mrs. Stella Mapp 81, a lifetime resident of Foard County, died Sunday night in Foard County Hospital. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Ainsworth officiating.
Mrs. Mapp was born Nov. 23, 1894, in Foard County. She married George E. Mapp on May 12, 1912 in Henrietta, TX, Mr. Mapp preceded her in death on July 10, 1965. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Crowell.
Survivors include on son, Jack Mapp, Crowell; one daughter, Mrs. Bill King, Crowell; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Mitchell, Ellenwood, Ga., Mrs Bertha Schultz, Abilene, Tex., and Mrs. Jim Cook, Crowell; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Pall bearers were Gerald Kroy, Billy Ray Dunn, Jeff Bell, Munson Welch, Travis Vecera, and Walter Ramsey.
