Jay Vanhorne Compton, 11 day old son of Mr. and Mrs. David Compton of the Five Forks section north of Louisa, died Wednesday morning at the home. The child was the 13th in the family and is survived by 7 sisters and 5 brothers. Also surviving are the grandmother, Mrs. Mary Belle Vanhorne and great-grandmother, Mrs. Weltha Ann Short, both of Louisa, route 3. Funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev. L.S. Alley and interment made in the Short (Compton) Cemetery.
