GOSHEN -- Irma M. Mishler, 92, of 1225 Greencroft Drive, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday (March 3, 2005) in Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Goshen to John M. and Agnes (Christophel) Shank.

She married Calvin "Pete" Mishler on April 16, 1931, in Wakarusa. He died March 7, 1990.

Surviving are two sons, Roger G. (Pat) Mishler of Nashville, Tenn., and David L. (Joellen) Mishler of Anderson; two sisters, Florence Schwalm of Goshen and Marjorie (Merle) Stephens of Niles; three brothers, Kenneth Shank of Mount Dora, Fla., Donald (Kay) Shank of Longs, S.C., and Kermit (Norma) Shank of Hamilton; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Ganger and Lucille Messner, and two brothers, Alvin and Ray Shank.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor John vonLackum will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.

Mrs. Mishler was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper at R & K Service. She was a 1930 graduate of Wakarusa High School, a member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ, a former member of Maplecrest County Club and an avid sports fan. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, walking, fishing and bridge.
