Funeral services for Adelle Hutson Williams McKenna, 86, of Blackville, SC will be held three p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014 at Pinehill Freewill Baptist Church with burial in the Springfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends from four to six p.m., Sunday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Pinehill Freewill Baptist Church, 1755 Ghents Branch Road, Denmark, SC 29042 or to Laurel Baye Health Care, 5721 Springfield Road, Williston, SC 29853. Mrs. Adelle passed away Friday, August 15, 2014.
Born in Barnwell County, she was a daughter of the late Isaiah Hutson and Rodelle Gleaton Hutson. She was first married to the late Roy Williams and was the widow of Charles McKenna. She was a member of Pinehill Freewill Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at Palm Beach Manufacturing and Blackville Manufacturing Company where she was a seamstress and worked in the cutting department.
Survivors include daughters, Bonnie J. Williams of Blackville, Hazel W. Collins and Kathleen W. (Larry) Davis both of Denmark; sisters, Virginia W. Miller of Neeses, Joanne Adams of Montmorenci; a brother, Isaiah “Buster” Hutson, Jr. of Springfield; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julette W. Mcleod; brothers, Lonell, Laverne, Joseph “Sumter”, John E. and Woodrow Hutson.
