wife of Joseph, daughter of James and Grance Garland, married in 1790. In 1794 they moved to KY, near Lexington and into the NW Territory in 1797. They built the first log cabin on the East Fork of the Little Miami River, 2 1/2 miles from its mouth, and then later moved to a farm where they spent their lives. This cemetery was deeded to the Methodist Episcopal Church by this couple on March 15 1831.
