Daniel P. Bockes

Services for Daniel P. Bockes, 53, of 1850 Ellis St. will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where the parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m.

Mr. Bockes formerly worked in maintenance at Loras College, the Dubuque Golf and Country Club and at golf courses in California.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1937, in Dubuque, son of John P. and Ethel (Grimmisey) Bockes. He died at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1991, at The Finley Hospital.

He served with the Army in Germany.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Delpha J. "Becky" Jones of Dubuque and Mrs. Glen (Patricia) Koenig of St. Donatus, Iowa; four brothers, John W. (and Dorothy) of West Covina, Calif., Walter K. (and Jeanne), of Palm Springs, Calif., and Larry L. and Bernard C., both of Dubuque.
