"Mr. Ralph Carson Chessor, 68
Services for Mr. Ralph Carson Chessor, 68, of Centerville, who died on Wednesday, January 7, at St Thomas Hospital in Nashville, were held on Friday, January 9, at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The service ws conducted by Paul Rogers and was followed by burial in Memory Gardens.
A native of Hickman County, Mr. Chessor was the husband of Martha Chessor and the son of Noah and Mattie Carson Chessor. He served in the U.S. Army during World Was II and was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Angela Chessor of Centerville; three sons, Carson Chessor and Joey Chessor, both of Centerville, and Gerry Chessor of Jackson; four sisters, Wylodean Armstrong, Agnes Dotson and Kate Bates, all of Centerville, and Jessie Troupe of Clarksville, and six grandchildren."
