Dolores "Dolly" Jeanne Susco, 34, passed away in Santa Fe due to injuries received in a single-car accident on 10 Oct 1986. She was the daughter of Dante V. and Janet M. Susco, and was born on 18 Dec 1951 in Los Alamos where was also raised.

She was a 1969 graduate of Los Alamos High School; a 1973 graduate of New Mexico State University, Las Cruces with a B.S in Elementary Education, and a 1974 graduate of Highland University, Las Vegas, NM with an M.A. in Bi-Lingual Education. Dolly went on to teach fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade bi-lingual classes in the public school system.

In high school and college, she was a cheerleader. In her spare time, she liked to dance and had been in several dance productions in Santa Fe. She also taught pre-natal dance and exercise classes.

Dolly was survived by a 3-year old son, her parents, brothers Dan Susco and one in California, and sisters Christine Susco and one in Santa Fe; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Her funeral service was held on 14 Oct 1986 at St. John's United Methodist Church, Santa Fe with Rev. Ed Williamson officiating followed by interment in Guaje Pines Cemetery, Los Alamos.
