Urban F. Rust, 76, of Cold Spring, died at 8:38 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a retired part owner of Simon Fischer Olds, Newport, and a member of St. Joseph Church Holy Name Society, Resurrection Cho, St. Joe's Seniors and St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Fischer Rust; daughters, Christine Galbaugh, Debby Luebbers and Carolyn Schumacher, all of Cold Spring; a son, Michael Rust of Mason, Ohio; sisters, Florence Wagner of Fort Thomas and Ruth Daunt of Cold Spring; brothers, Albert Rust, Edward Rust and Art Rust, all of Cold Spring; and 11 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Prayers will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas.
