He was born in Randolph County the son of Augusta and Rosie Polson Courrier. He was a cement contractor, and had been retired for some time.
Mr. Courrier was a Baptist.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gussie Sires, Moberly; two grandsons, Lloyd A. Cross, Moberly and Mickey Sires, Huntsville; granddaughter, Cindy Chapman, Moberly; brother, George Courrier, Moberly; sister, Mrs. Beulah Harper, Buffalo, N. Y.; and seven great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cater Funeral Home, with Dr. Joseph P. Grant, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation began at 4 p.m. today.
