Mr. Courrier, who had been at the U-Rest Nursing Home for some time, entered the hospital March 13.
He was born at Woodville, Aug. 24, 1881, the son of Augustus and Rosa Poulson Courrier. Mr. Courrier was a retired farmer and concrete contractor and had lived in the Moberly area most of his life. He was a member of a Baptist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, George of Clifton Hill and Albert of Moberly; sister, Mrs. Beulah Harper, Buffalo, N.Y.; three granddaughters, Mrs. Melvin (Shirley) McGee, Mrs. Gilbert (Betty) Machetta, both of Moberly; and Mrs. Richard (Leatha) Taylor, Davenport, Iowa; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cater Funeral Home, with Dr. Joseph P. Grant officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today.
