Mary Wright Reis
Mary J. (Wright) Reis, 88, of Somerset, PA, and formerly of Confluence, PA, died Saturday, October 9, 1999, in the Somerset Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1911, in Addison, PA, daughter of Nelson Andrew Wright and Annie B. (Meyers) Wright.
Mary was a member of the Addison United Methodist Church and worked for many years as a cashier at the Acme Store in Confluence.
Her husband, Melvin "Bud" Reis, daughter, Dorothy R. James, four brothers, two sisters, and her parents are deceased.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Jerry James, and three grandchildren: Jerry M. James, Mary Veil James, and Alan R. James, all of Somerset.
The family will receive friends at the Addison United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 12, from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon. Services will be held at noon with the Reverend Timothy Rogers officiating.
Interment follows the service in the Addison Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Addison United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, PA.
