MRS. MCCLERREN OF BENTON DIES
Mrs. Trully McClerren, 53, of 111 S. 8th St., Benton, died Saturday in Franklin County Hospital after a four-month illness. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Benton and the White Shrine. She was a former employee of the Paul Whittington Insurance Agency in Benton. She was born May 8, 1909, in Thompsonville. She leaves her husband, Earl McClerren; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Nordberg of Villa Park; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Cook of Benton and three brothers, Noble S. and Ervin Sullivan, both of Carbondale, and of M. B. Sullivan of West Frankfort. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the First Christian Church of Benton. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton. Friends may call at the Drake-Hobbs Funeral Home, Benton.
