Edmund Powers Presque Isle 82. Died 6-22-1997 at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born 2-26-1915 in Presque Isle the son of Patrick and Mary (Beaulieu) Powers. He was a lifelong member of St. Marys Catholic Church and was a past member of Bishop Daniel J. Feeney 4th degree Knights of Columbus. He was a lifelong potato farmer and a avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife and friend, Angelina "Angie" (Guerrette) Powers of Presque Isle, a daughter and her husband, Mary (Powers) and Kevin Condon of Mapleton, 3 sons and their wives, Peter and Jane Powers of Durham, Patrick and Rosemarie Powers of Yarmouth and Daniel and Michelle Powers of Presque Isle, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Peter of Presque Isle and Justin of Caribou, a sister, Martha Marston of Presque Isle, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen Powers and 3 brothers, Thomas, Llewellyn and James Powers. Burial North Main St. Catholic Cemetery.
