Lucy Annette Cardon Carlos died peacefully in her home on March 18, 1998 after patiently enduring a 29 year struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

She was born on February 20, 1919, the fifth of six children born to Jennie Murdock and Bartlie Temple Cardon of Logan, Utah. She attended the Benson School, Logan Jr. High, Logan Sr. High and graduated from Utah State University in June of 1941. She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and was the Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. She married her own Sigma Chi sweetheart, Jean Bank Carlos on September 18, 1943 in Redlands, CA. The marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. Annette was a dedicated elementary school teacher for much of her life and also worked as a Learning Disabilities Specialist for the Granite School District. She served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by two sisters, Joan Cardon Vanderhoff and LouJean "Dickie" Cardon Evans; three children, J. Craig (Annabella) Carlos of Black Hawk, CA; Bartlie H. Carlos of Oceanside, CA; and Ann Carlos (Greg) Link; and three grandchildren, Natalie Ann Link, Jon-Craig Carlos, and Gavin David Link.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 1998 at Monument Park 13th Ward, 1320 So. Wasatch Drive (2500 E.) at 12 noon, where friends may call one hour prior to services at 11 a.m. A viewing will also be held Sunday the 22nd at Larkin Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 South, from 6-8 p.m. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah.
