Juliaetta Bateman Jensen was born on Dec. 31, 1878 at West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah to Samuel Bateman and Marinda Allen Bateman. She got her teaching degree from the Univeristy of Utah and taught Midvale, Utah. She wrote the book, "Little Gold Pieces" which is autobiographical account about her own Bateman Family living in a Mormon Community at West Jordan Utah during very difficult times including, polygamy, health issues, joys and tragedy.
Juliaetta Bateman married Christen Jensen Aug. 17, 1904 at by Joseph F. Smith at the LDS Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. In 1907 Juliatta and Christian moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts where Christen Jensen attended Harvard University. In June 1908 Christen Jensen graduated with a Master of Arts degree from Harvard. Christen Jensen received a position at Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah County, Utah. He later became Dean of the Graduate School at Brigham Young University.
Juliaetta Bateman Jensen graduated in June of 1914 with an A.B. degree in Literature. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Literature from Brigham Young University.
