Harold married Ida Idella Calhoon and they had 4 children, David, Barbara, and twins Arlene and Darlene (both died shortly after birth), as well as a special daughter, Beverly. Harold farmed near Stougton, then in Deerfield. He was employed at the State of WI Building & Grounds Department until retiring in 1972. Member of Deerfield Lutheran Church. Harold and Ida helped Barbara raise her oldest son, my father. My dad remembers Harold as the greatest grandpa any boy could ever have. This man was loved by his family and friends!
