He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Tilford Jordan; 3 sons: Ed Jordan Jr. of Murfreesboro; Dick Jordan of Memphis; John "Hop" Jordan of Richmond, VA; a daughter, Nancy Jordan Muir of Franklin; 2 brothers, Col. Howard H. Jordan of Cocoa Beach, FL; Preston P. Jordan of Signal Mountain. Served the U.S. Navy during World War I. Native & retired farmer of Rutherford Co., he was active in the county affairs. Burial Evergreen Cemetery.
