Funeral services will be held for Gracie Estelle Kilpatrick Tabor, 95, at the First Baptist Church in Homer on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Brian Thurman, officiating. Interment will follow at the Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

Mrs. Tabor was born August 11, 1918 in Claiborne Parish to John and Maggie Henley Kilpatrick. She entered into rest Thursday, May 29th at Leslie Lakes Nursing Home in Arcadia. Mrs. Tabor was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was a preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, C.L. "Red" Tabor; her parents; one son, John Randall Tabor; also, brothers and sisters, Milton Kilpatrick, Elsie Shaver, Jewel Kilpatrick, Myrtice Kirkpatrick and Gladys Thompson.

Survivors include one son, Charles Duane Tabor of Summerfield; one sister, O'Neil Johnson and husband, C.I. of Benton; three grandchildren, Jonathan Tabor and wife, Kristie, Miranda Whitcomb and Leigh-Ann Tabor; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Tabor, Anna Warden, Riley Tabor and Landon Whitcomb; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kurth Tabor, Roger Johnson, Gene Kirkpatrick, David Kirkpatrick, Ricky Tabor and Bobby Kilpatrick.
