Mrs. Thompson was born to John Kilpatrick and Maggie Henley Kilpatrick. She died following a lengthy illness. She was a charter member and Sunday School teacher at Parkway Baptist Church. During World War II, she helped her country by working at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Paulette Dandridge.
She is survived by her husband, James F. Thompson of Minden; sons, Larry Dandridge and wife Becky of Shreveport, Robert Dandridge and wife Evelyn of Minden and George Dandridge of New York City; grandchildren, Susan and Mark; great-grandson, Ben; sisters, Gracie Tabor of Homer and O’Neil Johnson and husband, Clarence, of Benton.
