Serenie is 11th of their 16 children born
(John had a 17th w 2nd wife Julia Taylor);
Births page, "Serena M. Cason was Born Feb 25 1858."

Serenie married William Columbus Butler, May 25, 1881.

She died abt 1883 (+/- 1), probably in first childbirth. Serenie's grave's location in Kettle Creek Cemetery was lost decades ago, but it's probably near her parents' graves, as are several of their children's who died young.

Widowed husband W.C. Butler remarried on Sep 28, 1885, to Henrietta McLendon.
