Daughter of John Mason Breeding and Mary Louisa Whitten.
She married James Henry Lyle January 7, 1885, in Morgan County.

OBITUARY:

Decatur Daily, Aug 17, 1935

Mrs. J. H. Lyle Dies at Her Rural Home

Mrs J. H. Lyle, 69, died at 10 o'clock this morning at her home, Somerville Route 1 after an illness of two weeks.

Funeral rites will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at New Center (error it should read Center Springs) by the Rev. S. W. Brooks. I.B.D. Johnson will have charge of music during services. Peck, of Hartselle, will direct burial. Granddaughters of Mrs Lyle will have charge of flowers.

Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Mrs H. C. McGee [obit should have read, "Mrs H.P. McGee", not "Mrs H.C. McGee"] and Mrs N. D. Garrison, Somerville Route 1; two sons, H. P. Lyle, Somerville and A. H. Lyle, Somerville.
