Ruby (Davis)Daw was born August 12, 1923 on the family farm near Roll Oklahoma daughter of Bernice and F.M. Davis. She passed away May 21, 2014 at Elk City OK. at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 9 days.

Ruby attended school at Breezy Meadow and Roll before graduating from Crawford High School. After graduation she moved to Long Beach California to live with her sister. She had several different jobs but was proud to help her country by working at the Defense Plant as a "Rosie" The Riveter" After her brother's discharge from the military , she returned with him to Rogers Mill county and lived in Cheyenne. It was there that she met Norris Dae and they were later married on November 23, 1946 at Strong City Oklahoma. They lived in Borger Texas where she worked as a sales clerk and Norris was employed with Phillips Petroleum . In 1968 they moved to Wichita Falls until the late 1970's when she returned to the Cheyenne area were she made her home until her health required she move to Elk City where she lived out her last years at the Bell Avenue Nursing Center. Ruby considered her nieces and nephews her children and as they grew up and had children of their own. Ruby felt the same way about her great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Weldon Davis, and 5 sisters, Ida Mae Ezzel, Effie Lee Groves, Alta Scott, Berniece Ashley, and Frances Scott, 2 nieces, Loretta Fults, and Reba Davis, 4 nephews, Tom and Bill Ezzel and Don Groves.

She is survived by her sister in law, Nelda Davis of Strong City OK. 4 nieces, Roberta Clapp and husband Duayne f Elk City OK. Marie Bradshaw and husband Larry of Cheyenne Ok, Galene Fietz and husband Frank of Durant OK. Linda Jenkins and husband Ronnie of McKinney TX. 5 nephews, Ronald Scott and wife Pat of Cape Canaveral FL. Don Ezzell and wife Jorgia of Tulsa OK. Bob Dunham an wife Joan of Ryan OK. Tom Davis and wife Lela of Yuma AZ. Jim Davis of Dumas TX. and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends,

Burial will be in Strong City Cemetery in Strong City Ok.
