Woodland Progress, Wednesday, September 6, 2006: "Rose A. Scott, 99, of Turtle Creek died Aug. 31, 2006. Mrs. Scott had been a nurse at Shadyside Hospital. She taught swimming at Wilmerding YMCA and was an ardent Steelers fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Scott. Surviving are her daughters, Eileen Bartoli and her husband, Amos, and Bette McCartney and her husband, Richard, all of Monroeville, and the Rev. Joan Baugh and her husband, Herbert, of Wilkinsburg; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at Jobe Funeral Home Inc. Mass was celebrated at St. Colman Church."
