Wife of Lawson "Lucky" Earles

BENSON,NC: Mrs.Violene Stephenson Earles, age 86, of 2464 Stephenson Road died Tuesday at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at Johnson Memorial Church. Officiating will be Revs. Chris Searles, R.B. Parrish, and Rick Kelly. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Earles was born October 3, 1927 in Johnston County to the late Dewey and Frances Stevens Stephenson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lawson "Lucky" Earles; sisters, Virginia Byrd and Mayron Wall; brothers, Aron, Carlton, Mascelle, and Graham Stephenson; and son-in-law, Robert Taylor. Mrs. Earles was a homemaker and a member of Johnson Memorial Church.
Surviving include daughter & son-in-law, Frances "Butchie" E. and Connie Jernigan of Dunn; sister, Bessie Baker of Angier; granddaughter & spouse, Shelley & Brad Giles of West Columbia, SC; great grandsons, Lawson Giles and Taylor Giles; great granddaughter, Kayden Giles.
Family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Transitions Hospice Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
