-- Couple Killed Near Trenton
Trenton, Nov. 7. - Lewis N. Snipes, 40, and Miss Ola Snipes, 36, both of Rock Hill, were killed in a head-on collision between their automobile and a cotton truck on the highway about a mile and a half from Trenton. The driver of the truck, a Mr. Wynn of Greenville, and a companion whose name could not be immediately obtained, suffered injuries of undetermined extent and were removed to Johnston for treatment.
The Rock Hill couple, according to Johnston officers, got into difficulty in Johnston earlier in the afternoon, but had later been allowed to proceed on their way.
Both the car and the truck were demolished in the collision, and the 38 bales of cotton on the truck were scattered on both sides of the highway.

Crash Victims' Funeral Delayed
Chester, Nov. 9. - Funeral services have been delayed for Louis Snipes and his wife, Mrs. Ola Snipes, who were both Killed Saturday night in an automobile wreck near Johnston while en Route to a relative's funeral at Augusta, Ga.
The rites which were to have been conducted this afternoon from the home of the former's brother, William Snipes, at Chester have been postponed until Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the same place because of a delay in the Augusta funeral.
