Alma Davis, 88, of Marble Hill died Dec. 14, 2001 at Eldercare in Marble Hill. She was born Dec. 21, 1912 at Winona, MO, daughter of Dow and Pearl (Brawley) Gosnell. She and John E. Davis were married March 3, 1928 at Bismarck, MO.
Mrs. Davis was a retired seamstress.
Sh was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Davis of Granite City, IL, Ronald Davis of Cary, IL; four daughters, Louise Hughes of Marble Hill, Thelma Pryor of Pontoon Beach, IL, June Legate of Granite City, Jolene Hessling of Collinsville, IL; a brother, Chester Gosnell of Forrest Lake, MN; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, a sister, and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Burial in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen, MO.
