Leota Williams, of Murphysboro, died at age 82 on Thursday, April 27, 1989, at St. Joseph’s Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Murphysboro on January 23, 1907, the daughter of John and Mary Clements Staples.
She married Barney Williams in 1928.
She is survived by one son, Michael C. Williams of Memphis, Tennessee; one daughter, [Mrs.?] Joe Ozburn of Leawood, Kansas; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.
