Our loving, caring and giving wife, mother and grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father January 22, 1996 in Murray, Utah.
Vera Nona Ogden was born October 13, 1909 to Harry Forrest and Viva Deana Lawson Ogden. She was their second daughter. Her greatest joy came from serving others. She married Emile G. Zbinden, October 30, 1940 in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the LDS Church and served as a Relief Society counselor, Primary teacher and worked in the stake Primary. Her great love for children made her a wonderful teacher. She was known as the "Candy Lady" by the children on her street. The family would like to thank the staff at the Murray Care Center for the tender care they gave her.
Survived by husband, Emile of Murray; son, W. Wendell Wagstaff (Carolyn); daughter, Janet Moss Runyan (Bob); sister, Ethel Mathews of Beaver, Utah. She loved her seven grandchildren and her 21 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Stanford Zbinden and a great-grandson, Zachary Wagstaff.
Funeral services will be at the Belview LDS Ward Chapel, 6300 South 300 East, Murray, Thursday, January 25, 1996, 12 noon.
Friends may call one hour prior to services, or Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East.
