A PIONEER RESIDENT
Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Potts, Of Adams County

Decatur, Ind., Sept. 20 - The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Pitts [sic], one of the pioneer women of this county, whose death occurred Sunday, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the U.B. church. The deceased was 76 years of age and she had been a resident of this and Allen county, residing near the county line, from her girlhood. The surviving children are: Samuel, of Fort Wayne; Hiram, of Bobo; Harriet Baxter, Monmouth; Minnie Crabill and Della Sprague of this city; Jack Pitts [sic] of Fort Wayne; Peter Potts, of near Fort Wayne; Eliza, of Monroeville; Carrie Cully, Allen county.
