Andrew was born on December 10, 1910 in Elmo, Utah, a son of Worth and Florence Abby Pulsipher Tucker. He married Hannah Riley on April 11, 1934 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
Andrew was an active member of the LDS church and served in many positions. He served as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple. He also served a work mission in Hawaii in 1961.
Andrew took great pride in his vocation and skills as a carpenter. Over the span of 40 years he worked on numerous large construction projects throughout the Salt Lake and Utah valleys.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Hannah; his son, Andrew Duane (Susan) Tucker of Layton; and youngest daughter, Sandra (Dennis Hanson) of Price; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wesley J. Tucker, and Cleon D. Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, three sisters, his daughter, JoAnn Clayton, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray, on Tuesday June 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 at the Belview Ward, 6300 South 300 East, Murray Utah, where friends and family may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 So. 1700 E., Sandy, Utah.
