Ivan Clarence Tucker, age 91, died early Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992 at his home.

He was born November 4, 1900 at Colonia Diaz Chihuahua, Old Mexico to Worth and Florence Abby Pulsipher Tucker.

Married Emma Eva Peck Eckley July 10, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mr. Tucker has lived in Calif. and Utah throughout his life and for the past three years in the St. George area.

He was a member of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. He was a veteran of World War I and had just recently been presented the Medal of Victory by a visiting general.

He was a member of the LDS Church and held the office of High Priest and had served a mission at the Los Angeles Temple. He loved to play pinochle.

Surviving family members include his wife, of Ivins; two sons, five daughters, Joane Frew, Alaska; Richard Evan, Salt Lake City; Ramona Lewis, Koosharem, Utah; Carol Bailey, Maxine Pugsly and Betty Dewaal, all of Salt Lake City; Delbert, Spring City; step-children, Dottie Robertson, Chula Vista, California; John Wickham and Allura Sweet, both of Ivins; Mary E. Platts, Charles D. Wickham, Shirlyn Richards and Joseph Eckley, all of Salt Lake City; Tom Wickham, Gilroy, Calif.; 30 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jesse, Andrew, Wesley and Cleon Tucker and Dora Price, all of Salt Lake City; one daughter, Shirley Grende preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 1992 at 11 a.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive in Salt Lake City.

Friends may call Metcalf Mortuary, 300 West St. George Blvd. in St. George on Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and on Friday morning at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary one hour prior to services.

Interment in the Elysian Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
