Central High - WILLIE PEARL "BILL" CRIDER, 76, of Central High, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, in Central High.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Rock Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Couch officiating. Services are under direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Marlow.
Bill was born April 2, 1929, in Grady County, Oklahoma, to Sam and Eula Mae Boyles Smith. She attended school at Central High.
She married Harold Cook on Nov. 26, 1945. He preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1957. She married A. C. Crider on Feb. 27, 1959, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2000.
Bill and A.C. owned and operated a grocery store/station on Oklahoma Highway 7, called Central High/Crider's Grocery and Station, for over 27 years before retiring.
She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Duncan.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Cook and wife Janice of the Bethel community, and Jamie Crider and wife Tina of Central High; a daughter, Leola Garrett and husband Freddie of Central High; eight grandchildren, Ericka Carmon and husband Bud, Evan Cook, Denise Robertson, Jonathan Crider, Justin Crider, LeAnn Johnson and husband Shawn, Sherri Curry and husband Marty, and Lesa Sparks and husband Jeff; nine great-grandchildren, Aaron, Dillon and Lindsy Johnson, Heath, Garrett and Makayla Curry, and Jarrett, Christa and Kylee Sparks; two brothers, Ben Smith and wife Loretta of Duncan, and Joe Smith and wife Edith of Roswell, N.M.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Honorary bearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Married Nov 26, 1945
