Born at Stanaford on May 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Cecil Basham and Gladys Miller Basham.
Mr. Basham was a retired plumber, and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ricky Meadows and Jerry Basham.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella Branham Basham; three sons, Kevin Basham and wife, Stephanie, of Odd, Robert Dale Basham and wife, Lisa, of Pound, Va., and Chris Basham and wife, Tiffany, of Beckley; three brothers, Billy Basham and wife, JoAnn, Danny Basham and wife, Ramona, and Jimmy Basham and wife, Reva, all of Beckley; two sisters, Doris Hamm and husband, Norman, of Conway, S.C., and Linda Raines and husband, Michael, of Eccles; and 10 grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with the Rev. James Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
