Mt. Holly Springs -- Lucille B. Stier of 105 Yates St., Mt. Holly Springs, died Friday in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carlisle, past president of the Carlisle Garden Club and a certified master gardener.

She was the widow of Richard K. Stier.

Surviving are two sons, Roger K. Stier of Carlisle and Gary R. Stier of Absecon, N.J.; one daughter, Suzanne Colaizzi of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Harold and John Ingenthron, both of Topeka, Kan.; two sisters, Mildred Crawford of Sun City West, Ariz., and Elizabeth Dennis of Topeka; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Patrick's Shrine Church in Carlisle. Burial will be in the Hecktown Hope Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, Mount Holly Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Carlisle Garden Club, care of Treasurer Doris Pratt, 161 Yorwick Road, Carlisle 17013.

Father's obit:

George J. Ingenthron, 83, 614 Emmett, died Monday in a Topeka hospital where he was transferred a few days earlier from a convalescent center in Topeka. He had been in the convalescent center many months.

He was born Dec. 30, 1892 in Topeka where he spent his life.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a machinist before he retired.

His wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ingenthron, died April 30, 1954.

Survivors include 3 sons, Harold P. Ingenthron, 524 Twiss, Raymond G. Ingenthron, 1905 John, and John J. Ingenthron, 1400 Sardou; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Stier, Mount Holly Springs, Pa., Mrs. Helen Abate, 716 Freeman, Mrs. Elizabeth A. Dennis, 614 Emmett, and Mrs. Mildred Crawford, Downey, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Brennan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

She was born at Kamenka, Russia, May 10, 1893, and came to Topeka 55 years ago.

She was a member of Sacred Heart church and St. Monica's Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, George J. Ingenthron of the home; three sons, Harold of 524 Twiss, Raymond of 632 Emmett and John of the Navy at Portsmouth, Va.; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Stier of Easton, Pa., Mrs. Helen Abate of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Mildred Poort of 1236 North Kansas and Mrs. Elizabeth Dennis of 418 East Sixth; three brothers, Peter Andes of 1029 Clay, Joseph Andes of 633 Gratton, John Andes of Lecompton; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Lester of 217 East Twenty-Seventh and Mrs. Ann Berberick of Denver; and four grandchildren.

Brennan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
