Shirley Ann, fifteen-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manford Speer of Hayti, died Friday at the home of her grandfather, Dr. J.A. Speer, in Deering of bronchial pneumonia after a nine-days illness.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Dr. Speer's residence, conducted by the Rev. Thomas C. Whitfied, Christian minister of Hayti. Interment was in Little Prairie cemetery.
The child is survived by her parents, four brothers and sisters, and other more distant relatives.
