Joseph Lee Greenwell, Jr., 48-year-old farmer of the St. Francis section, died at 4:30 a.m. last Thursday at Mary Immaculate Hospital after a year's illness of heart ailment.
He was a native of Marion County, a son of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Greenwell and the late Joseph Leo Greenwell.
Survivors, besides his mother, include a daughter, Miss Mary Leola Greenwell, Lebanon; four brothers, William Francis, Joseph Earl, and Joh Edward Greenwell, all of St. Francis, and Joseph Arthur Greenwell, Loretto, and three sisters, Mrs. Lyle Dant, Loretto; Mrs. Hugh K. Cahoe, Rockford, Ill. and Mrs. Pat Seward, New Haven.
The bod was at the Mattingl Funeral Home, until 9 a.m. Saturday when funeral services were conducted at St. Francis of Assisi Church at St. Francis by Rev. James Schlich. Burial was in the church cemetery.
