GARCIE M. BARNETT
Garcie M. Barnett, 42, of Craigsville, formerly of Braxton County, died Friday in a Richwood hospital after a short illness.
He was a foreman for Moss Coal & Coke Co. at Tioga, a Methodist, and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving: Wife, Betty, sons, Gracie [sic] Jr. and Bruce at home; daughters, Mrs. Gloria Snyder of Lansdale, Pa., Tina at home; brothers, George of Marlinton, Russell of Sutton, Walter of Moundsville; sisters, Mrs. Eva Spore of New Castle, Del., Mrs. Lula Crites and Mrs. Nellie Cottrill of Sutton, Mrs. Myrtle Tharpe of Erbacon, Mrs. Eula Carpenter of Eastlake, Ohio.
Service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Elizabeth Chapel Church, with burial in the family cemetery. Marple Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
