MARION, Ill. -- Naomi C. Bourland, 84, of Portage, Mich., formerly of Marion, died Saturday at her daughter's home in Portage.
She was a residence care aide at Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., for 21 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portage, and the Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Patsy Barnett of Portage; two sons, Dave of Macon, Ga., and James of Marion; four sisters, Vivian Richerson and Ella Mae McAlpin, both of Benton, Thelma Johnson of Kankakee and Ruth Isaacs of West Frankfort; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Emil James, died in 1979.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lebanon Cumberland Church.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, where Eastern Star will conduct services at 7 p.m. today.
