"Funeral services were held here Wednesday for Mrs. Rhoda M. Williams, 85, long time resident of Manchester who died Monday night at the Bolin hospital here where she was taken three days previous. Nee Rhoda M., daughter ofd the late Richardson and Elizabeth Allen, born April 5, 1864 at Avon, Ontario, Canada. She married at Greeley, IA June 25,1885 to the late Wm. Washington "Wash" Williams who died Dec.4,1919. A resident of the United States for 81 years, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Sarah E. McKinnis of Manchester. She was a member of the Baptist church."
