Cecil Bruce Webley, best known as "Papsy" among his family, left this world and stormed the gates of Heaven to be with the Savior he so loved at 12:30 a.m. Friday the 11th of October, 2013, after 85 years of bringing joy, encouragement and the message of the good news of Jesus into the lives of all he met. He was born the youngest of twelve children to JB Webley and Alma (Ewalt) Webley on Dec. 29, 1927 in Wenatchee, Washington. Papsy was surrounded by all of his children when he passed, singing the hymns he had so dearly loved. The last thing he heard, as he was ushered into eternal Joy with His Lord, was all his kids gathered around him singing, "O That Will be Glory for Me!" He then joined his oldest son Jared and is survived by his only living sibling, Norma Schmidt; his wife 58 of years, Donna; and their children: Aleta, Kim (and Beth), Becky (and Bud), Treesa (and John); 13 grandchildren, along with their seven delightful spouses; and 6 of the best great-grandchildren ever!!!! They will continue to be blessed by the legacy and memory of their sweet Papsy.
A Celebration of Cecil's/Papsy's life is open to all who would like to come and will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday the 19th of October at LifePoint Church, 305 NE 192nd Vancouver, WA 98684 - Sharing fond memories, fellowship and food will follow.
