Mrs. Catherine M. Grimm

Mrs. Catherine Margaret Grimm, 80, widow of James Grimm, died today at 8 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Jennison of the Chester-Newell rd., following a long illness. She was born in Pittsburgh and came to Chester at the age of 13 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Goppert. Mrs. Grimm was a member of the St. John's Lutheran church and the Willing Workers' Society. In addition to Mrs. Jennison she is survived by a son, William Goppert Sr. of Chester; a brother, George Goppert of East Liverpool, and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A son, Frederick Grimm, and daughter, Miss Margaret Grimm, preceded her in death. Rites will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Lutheran church by Rev. John F. Kindsvater, pastor. Interment will be in Spring Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the Jennison residence.
