"Okey R. Ash, 73, of the City of Green, passed away Nov. 2, 1994. He retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., and was a member of the Cottage Grove Church of the Nazarene. Preceded in death by father, mother, and brother, Clyde, he is survived by wife of 53 years, Sylvia; son, David... daughters... Dorothy Moseley, Bettie Hammons... brothers, Carl, Don, and Robert; sisters, Opal, Orma, and Hilda; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be TONIGHT, 6 to 8, at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619). Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Rev. Fred Thompson officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery."
