Buck ' Payton Services Set
Funeral services for Clem Walker (Buck). Payton, 77, 589 West Morgan Street, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Cure and Hensley Chapel The Rev. Alvin Holloway will conduct the service and the burial will be in South Park Cemetery.

Mr. Payton died shortly afternoon Saturday in the Morgan County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for several weeks and had. been, hospitalized. four days prior to his death.

Mr. Payton was the son of Benton and Cora Stewart Payton and was born in Stinesville, August 25, 1889. He was marred to the former Anna Kriner, Dec. 18, 19I8. The widow survives.
Coming here from Lafayette in 1916, Mr. Payton was employed as a mechanic at the Martinsville Auto Company for 13 years and also was employed with the Monon Railroad for a period of three years. He belonged to the First-Methodist Church in Martinsville.

Besides- his widow he also leaves four daughters, two sons, a sister and 15 grandchildren The daughters are Mrs. Dorothy Landrum, Martinsville; Mrs. Ralph Martin and Mrs. Wayne Keith of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Charles Leitzman of Paragon. The sons both living in Indianapolis, are Junior Walker Payton and Larry Payton. The surviving sister is Mrs. Vance Forbes, also of Indianapolis. One daughter preceded Mr. Payton in death.
