Mr. Moore was born on October 7, 1930 in Lamar County a son of Willie Marion and Ellda Jerigan Moore. He worked for Cummer Graham and began working at Campbell Soup Company retiring in May of 1992 after 27 ½ years. He was a member of Ramseur Baptist church where he served as an usher for many years and the Paris Masonic Lodge # 27 A.F. & A.M. After retiring he enjoyed collecting tin cans.
On February 25, 1956 in Paris he married the former Dorothy Onedia Canida giving them 58 years of happy family memories. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter Anita Moore.
Survivors include his spouse Dorothy Onedia Moore; daughter Anita Moore; brother Ray Moore and wife Greta of Sherman; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters Joyce Fail, Ruth Jackson, Dorothy Smith and two brothers Archie Moore and Bill Mack Moore.
Pallbearers will be Gary Bridgers, Ted Fortner, Tony Watkins, Clayton Watkins, Ralph Hoffman, and Dale Loggins.
