AUSTIN -- Olive M. Dahmen, 87, a resident of the Adams Healthcare Center in Adams and formerly of Austin, died Monday evening (June 1, 1992) in the care center.
Born Olive M. Wilkerson on Oct. 3, 1904, in Des Moines County, Iowa, she graduated from high school in Hartford, S.D., and attended Baptist College in Sioux Falls, S.D., for a year. She married Joe Dahmen on Oct. 1, 1923. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy (Mrs. James) Carlson and Mary Lou Clennon, both of Austin; a son, Earl of Mapleview, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; 27 greatgrandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, with the Rev. Joe Matt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
