In addition to her family, she loved cooking, gardening, taking care of her plants, crocheting, and quilting. She was employed with Mexico Public Schools in food service & retired from there in 1984.
She is survived by her children: Roscoe (Dorothy) Lear of Auxvasse, Beverly Jo (Rick) May of Mexico, Judy (Greg) Bryson of Mexico, Terry (Mark) Bailey of Benton City, and one stepdaughter, Sarah (Charles) Shoaf of Columbia, MO; 9 grandchildren, George, Evelyn, Robyn, Aaron, Ryan, Justin, Kaylee, Nichole, & Andrea; 2 step grandchildren, Jeff & Jennifer; and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Marjorie Wright, of Macon, MO, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and eleven siblings.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 1:00 at Eastlawn Cemetery in Mexico. Visitation will be at Arnold Funeral Home from 11:00 until the time of the service. Rev. Charles Legg will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus or The American Lung or Heart Associations.
