Donald Boyd Cecil Luke Adam, 78, of Tulsa, OK., died March 7, 2014 at South Lake, CA., near Lake Isabella in California. He was born October 26, 1935 in Miltonville, KS., the son of Alphy Augusta and Eva Alma Cyre Adam. Mr. Adam was a 1954 graduate of West High School, participating in many sports and extra-curricular activities. He served in the US Marines during the Korean Conflict (1958 to 1959) receiving a good conduct medal and honorable discharge. He worked as a mechanic at Mid-American Tire Company in Kansas City, Security watchman for the Tulsa Select Hotel in Tulsa, OK., and remodeled homes as a side business for himself. He attended Victory Christian Center in Tulsa. He married Alice Sabourin in Wichita, KS., December 30, 1960. She preceded him in death. Survivors include, five daughters, Pamela King, Coppell, TX., Lori Ann Mooneyham, unknown address, Staci Marie Adam, Tulsa, OK., Shelley Rene Adam, Tulsa, OK., and Katherine Lynn Spears, North Carolina. One brother Keith Adam, Oskaloosa, KS., 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation is planned with a memorial mass 10:00AM Friday March 21, 2014 at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry. Inurnment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Perry.
